Formed in 1989 by Mr. P.Ligeris, Chemplus caters to the chemical market, focusing mainly on the diverse process control chemical industry. Its products vary from concrete mould release agents and galvanising products for the industrial industry, to bread mould release agents and other automation apparatus for the food and confectionary market.

Chemplus implemented a just-in-time inventory control method alongside utilising its in-house lab extensively for quality management wherein every product batch is tested and any complaints received are pursued thoroughly.

Chemplus' major clients and partners, include amongst others, GEA Cooling Systems and Transvaal Galvanisers, with whom it has worked very closely to assist in their whole production operation. In terms of the food industry its major clients include the top Plant Bakeries in South Africa and Zimbabwe.
