TV Choice w/c 26 February True Grit or true Brit at the Oscars?
BAFTA-winning movie The King's Speech is a hot Oscars favourite with 12 nominations but it could have a surprise challenger, Alex Zane tells TV Choice.

LONDON, ENGLAND, February 26, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- 'I'd put money on Colin Firth picking up Best Actor and Christian Bale winning Best Supporting Actor for The Fighter,' says movie buff Alex Zane, who will be hosting coverage of the LA ceremony for Sky Movies Premiere.

'But there will still be lots of surprises. For instance, True Grit was completely snubbed at the Golden Globes and won just one BAFTA. But it's nominated for 10 Oscars, and could be a big challenge to The King's Speech.'

In the soaps, Glenda takes revenge on Phil in EastEnders, and David's marriage plans shock his family in Coronation Street. Jimmy turns up suffering with amnesia in Emmerdale, and Seth collapses in Hollyoaks. Rebecca has a plan to stop Paul's blackmailing in Neighbours, and a singles night at the restaurant ends in a brawl in Home And Away. Julia's chemical peel goes wrong in Doctors.
